Our branches are well equipped with separate theatres and inhalation anaesthesia to perform all routine veterinary surgeries. All the branch hospitals have air-conditioned wards.
- At our Bellville branch Dr Ian Campbell is our veterinarian with a special interest in surgery. Here, orthopaedics, arthroscopy and spinal surgery is routinely done. The Bellville branch has two theatres, as well as a digital radiography (X-ray) department.ards.
- The centrally located ICU ward is equipped with a defibrillator and dedicated ICU ventilators for patients struggling with breathing problems. ICU monitors assess patients' vital signs closely and are supervised throughout the night by the on-duty vet.
- Our hydrotherapy pool, which can accommodate large dog breeds, is also located at the Bellville branch.
- Staffed with a registered veterinary lab technologist, TAH Bellville has its own blood laboratory that uses human reference laboratory machines. The lab also offers the advantage of pre-anaesthetic blood screens, plus moment-to-moment blood tests and monitoring on critically ill patients.
- TAH Kenridge has special heated snake/tortoise cages, heating pads and facilities for special anaesthetic requirements for reptiles, fish and exotics.

- Dr Frank Kettner [BSc (Hons) Zoology, BVSc (Hons), MMedVet (Medicine)] heads our Specialist Medicine Clinic
- Dr Ater McDonald has an Honours degree in Medicine and Clinical Pathology, as well as completing a course in small animal ultrasonography. He also has a special interest in birds.
- Dr Colin Levitan has an Honours degree in radiology and small animal medicine.
- Dr John Adam has a special interest in large animal work, as does Dr Bradley Hodgson.
- Dr Stephen Smith has a special interest in reptiles, fish and exotics.
